Nunamaker earned his medical degree from Medical University of South Carolina, in Charleston, where he served as Resident Physician in the Department of Internal Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Interventional and General Cardiology and completed a cardiology fellowship at MUSC in July 2000. From 1995 to 1997, Dr. Nunamaker provided urgent health care to military veterans at Ralph H. Johnson Veteran's Hospital in Charleston, and was recently recognized as an Outstanding Fellow in Electrophysiology Rotation.
