Dr. Stewart earned his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, School of Osteopathic Medicine, where he served as Chief Fellow while earning his fellowship in Gastroenterology. Before moving to Beaufort, Dr. Stewart served as clinicial assistant professor at UMDNJ-SOM Dept. of Internal Medicine. He has a special interest in Endoscopy, including ERCP and Endoscopic Laser Therapy. Dr. Stewart is a member of several professional associations, including the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American Osteopathic Association and the American Medical Association.
